Alan Hall, former assistant professor at Berklee College of Music, is currently percussion department faculty advisor at The Jazzschool. He is an author(Internalization), clinician, and endorser for Zildjian Cymbals, Aquarian and Vic Firth. He has performed and/or recorded with: Kenny Werner, Billy Childs, Paul McCandless, Art Lande, Ernie Watts,Kai Eckhardt, Eddie Harris, Stuart Hamm, Tom Coster, Larry Coryell, Clifford Carter, Bruce Williamson, Bobby Shew, John Handy, and Joyce Cooling. He runs Bay Area Percussion Services, which offers an afterschool drumming program to schools throughout the Bay Area called Rhythm Rocks! He is also one of the most in-demand drummers in the Bay Area jazz scene.
